Hot Mocha Mix

This frigid weather leaves me wanting something warm to ease the chill!  I am not a tea drinker, and sometimes I want something other than coffee.  My mocha mix is just the thing that hits the spot.

This is a recipe for which I cannot take full credit.  It is a recipe I found in the Montezuma Amish Mennonite Cookbook vol.1.  I simply adjusted the portions to suit my taste.  I love this mix!  We have been drinking it for several months now.  Hope you try it!

Hot Mocha Mix
2 c instant nonfat dry milk
2 1/3 c sugar
4 c non-dairy coffee creamer (I find that the extra rich is best for my tastes.)
1/4 c cocoa (I use Hershey's unsweetened cocoa.)
1 1/2 c instant coffee  (I use Folgers.)

Mix all the ingredients well in a large container.  Store in an airtight container.  For each serving, place 3 T in a cup and add 1 cup of boiling water.  Stir well and enjoy!

Until we meet again, may you be blessed!

  1. mmmm, can't wait to get my ingredients. :)

  2. :) Then we will have to get together again to give yours a "taste test"! ;)

  3. I like it when you have amazon links :) BTW, when are you coming to drink hot choclate with me?

    1. I just asked Debbie the other day if she thought we could make it before the snow arrived! I would love to come drink hot chocolate and laugh with you again!
