Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach, torn
1 15-oz. can whole-kernel corn
1/2 cup cooked beef cut into small pieces
1/2 cup long grain rice
1 quart water
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a medium pot. Simmer until rice is cooked (20-30 minutes).
We ate the soup with Wampanoag Journey Cakes.
wow I am Oneida and I am making corn soup now and it look vastly different than what your trying to portray! Do it right or don't do it at all

My husband and I both have a very strong Cherokee heritage, so I love to study Native Americans with my children. Would you like to share the real way to make the soup?
